Show the difference between a 1 kg mass and a 1 lb mass.​

Assembly Instructions

Pull out the 1 kg and 1 lb containers full of bbs of the respective mass.  If being passed around the class, then all set.  If being displayed to the students in the lecture halls, grab a backplane and a camera to make it easier to view these items

Operation Instructions

Show and tell visual of what 1 kg vs 1 lb looks like.  If using this in a large lecture hall, make sure students can see the camera output prior to explaining the demonstration.​

We built this demo with two clear plastic bottles, 1 lb of BBs, and 1 kg of BBs.
