Objective

To demonstrate dark matter filament formation using fluorescent particles and gravity introduced by lecturer.

StatusAvailable
Assembly Instructions

Lay the cloth out flat.  Sprinkle some fluorescent chalk dust, rite clothing bleacher, and sugar randomly on the cloth.  Move the filled cloth under a UV light. Once ready, take the flat cloth and scrunch it together.  Areas where there was a lot of "gravity" will form areas of concentrated mass particles and they form in long filament type orientations.

Operation Instructions

Once ready, put the camera feed up on the screen and turn on the UV light.  Take the flat cloth and scrunch it together, with a little shake. Areas where there was a lot of "gravity" will form areas of concentrated mass particles and they form in long filament type orientations.  With the UV light illuminating the cloth, the mass particles we sprinkled onto the cloth will glow like stars.
