​Demonstrate how the change in color of the sky during a sunset comes from the increase of rayleigh scatters between the observer and the sun.

Assembly Instructions

​Prepare a solution of 8g sodium thiosulfate +5 H2O crystals and 250ml of DI water. Arrange the assembly as shown in the pictures making sure that as much light as possible passes through the solution. When the professor is reading drop in the .25ml 1% H2SO4 in the container and give it a little stir. The reaction will proceed as expected.
