Demonstrate how blue light can be scattered while red light is transmitted.

Instructions
Fill a tube with one of the scattering solutions and attach to the bench rod. Adjust the height so the end of the tube rests above the beam of the projector. The scattered blue light makes the contents of the tube appear blue and the transmitted red spot can be seen by placing a white card as a screen at a 45° angle to the end of the tube. The optical tank can also be used for this demonstration.
