A 500-W incandescent light bulb is plugged into a variac. Slowly turn up the variac and observe the changing color of the filament.

 Replace "large light bulb" with "500W filament bulb".  In operation instructions, list the 2nd sentance in the assembly instructions.  Then list what colors corespond to what temparatures (i.e. yellow = 2700K, white = 5000K, etc.).
