6A44.u1-1 - Laser Tank Kit
Demonstrate geometrical optics by direct ray tracing using three parallel beams of light in an optical scattering tank.
This setup allows the demonstrator to show many different things. A single beam of light passes through a point source ray generator that creates three beams. The three beams are then paralled with a short focal length lens. In a darkened setting, it is easy to see how various optical components will affect the light. The demo is simple to use because you can place any component into the beams of light with just your hand, or you can use a stand. Visibility of the beams is quite good. Below, you'll find descriptions and pictures of the setups that we have available. If you have a different idea for an optical configuration, please call us. We may be able to accommodate it.
