​Before a professor or lecture can use this demo, it must first be tested and the sparkgap adjusted for proper performance and operation.  The sparkgap is adjusted by turning the nylon screw on the side of the base of the Tesla coil.

Instructions
Warn the class about the dangers involved in this experiment, especially so anyone with a pacemaker or sensitive medical electronics can leave the room (or be wrapped up in grounded Aluminum foil as a Faraday cage). Turn on the Tesla coil and watch it spark.

Component Notes
Radiation produced by this machine can disrupt a computer, or other device such as nedical electronics or personal electronic devices eg. 'ipod'.
