To show how heated glass turns into an ionic fluid, allowing conduction of electricity to occur.

Instructions
Set up two incandescent light bulbs in series.
One of the bulbs is carefully broken inside a plastic bag by the demonstrator.  Then the bulb is re-inserted into the base.  The power is restored and the filament burns out.  When this happens, the circuit is broken and the intact bulb goes out.
Now take the blow torch and heat the glass base of the light bulb which supports and insulates the filaments.  Once the temperature of the glass reaches the desired level, the current is restored and the intact light bulb will turn back on.
