Instructions
A tube and stopper are inserted into a flask about 2/3 full of colored water. If you now blow a few bubbles of air back down the tube, the liquid will rise part way up the tube. The difference between this demonstration and 4E10.11 - Galileo’s Air Thermoscope is that in this thermoscope, the liquid is expanding not the gas.
