Instructions
Attach the balls to a 4 foot rod at even spacing (~5.25 in). Mount rod as shown in photo, including hooks on the support rods to fix the end-point springs to. Connect the balls to one another with the attached springs, and fix the end springs to the support rods.

Overview
Demonstrate longitudinal and transverse propagation of waves in a coupled pendula.
Instructions
To operate the demo, simply displace a ball longitudinally or transversely. To steady the balls when they are oscillating, use the provided wooden dowel to line the balls up and stop oscillation by holding it against all the balls and slowly removing it.
