1C20.30 - Acceleration on the Air Track

The Web Part cannot find an InfoPath form in the specified location. Either the location does not have an InfoPath form associated with it or it is on a different site collection. Modify the Web Part Properties and select a list or library on the current site.

Demonstrate that distance is proportional to time squared during acceleration.​

Assembly Instructions

Place the air track on a 5 ft cart, if available. Put two photogate timers on the track and plug the one closest to the starting point of the cart into the START port of the timer and the furthest photogate timer into the STOP port of the timer. Attach the air supply to the track and place the air supply on an ON/OFF switch. Level the air track. Place 1.5 inch riser block under the single leg of the air track. Run the demo to ensure it is operating as expected.

Operation Instructions

Make sure the timers are reset. Place the riser block under the single leg to the desired level. Place the cart on the high side of the track and let it go. Be careful to not introduce an initial velocity. Be sure to reset the timers before you run it a second time. Feel free to move the photogate timers as desired.
