Assembly Instructions

Instructions
The Brownian motion demonstrator consists of a horizontal plate with a lot of little steel balls on it which are kept in motion by agitators on the edge of the plate. The motor is connected to a variac and the apparatus placed on an overhead projector. Turn the variac up slowly and the balls will begin to move. If one or more of the foam lumps is placed between the plates while the machine is off, they will move around randomly due to collisions with the steel balls when the motor is started again.
